Picking a Baby Name
Step 1: Decide if you are going to choose a popular, traditional or creative name.
Step 2: If you are going to choose a traditional name, understand the traditional scheme that is used in your family history. For instance, in my family they name the daughter after the father's mother.
Step 3: Make sure it is a person that is valuable enough to have your child's name.
Step 4: Is this name gender appropriate. If your having a daughter by the name of Jay. She wont be happy with it when she is attending school.
Step 5: Think about the future. Is the name you are choosing appropriate for the life stages. For example make sure when your child will be a senior citizen their name is appropriate.
Step 6: Would you want to make a minor changes to the name. Remember you must love this name, because you will be saying it more than 50 times a day.
